Do you have back pain? You are not alone.
I recently researched the market for back pain medication and supplements. I was surprised to learn that lower back and neck pain is the leading cause of disability in most countries, including the U.S., according to the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2015.
In fact, in the U.S., about 80% of adults experience low back pain during their lifetimes. A recent study published by JAMA (the Journal of the American Medical Association) indicates that low back and neck pain ranks third in the top three conditions that dominate U.S. health care spending. Diabetes and ischemic heart disease rank and 1 and 2, respectively. Too much sitting? Not enough exercise? Bad posture? Or just aging? In the meantime, start your research on back pain at WebMD.
